The Goodpasture Volleyball Team won their 82nd game in a row last night by defeating Gordonsville High School. The win breaks the TSSAA State Record for consecutive volleyball wins. The previous record was set from 1976-1978 by Chattanooga Kirkman. The current streak spans two State Championships and three seasons. Goodpasture now owns a 3D printer! The MakerBot Replicator 2 lives in the physics lab, but is used for various classes, groups, and individuals across campus. With the 3D printer, students will be able to create a digital design of a 3D object and print it out in plastic. Already this year, a solution for how to maintain tardy slips has been developed for the high school office using the printer and personalized gingerbread men have been printed for the junior kindergarten to go along with their gingerbread theme week.
