Mark Fisher, a Goodpasture grad from 2006, is ready to finish his illustrious career at MTSU. He is a 6'-3" offensive lineman,  weighs 290 lbs., and is a Pre-Med major getting ready for the MCAT as a senior this season.

MTSU this season is suppose to win the Sun Belt. During their league conference meetings, their coaches picked them to win everything this year.

Heather Saunders, '09 graduate and currently attending Lipscomb University, is one of the Youth Leaders with RAVE Ministries.

The Goodpasture Golf Team began their 2010 season this week. Both the boys and girls teams played Monday in an 18 hole match with FRA and Thursday in the Stan McNabb Tullahoma High School Classic. The Cougars are off to a great start by both the boys and girls teams defeating FRA at Riverside Golf Course.

On July 18th, Lance Jerrald and Turner Bush made first team All-State. These players had a wonderful season. Both played very hard and were great team mates.

Even though the Cougars did not make it to the state this season, it is nice to know that two of our own players did make it.

Goodpasture Christian School's 2010 graduate, Lance Jarreld, was selected in Major League Baseball's recently held draft as the first pick in the 47th round by the Washington Nationals.  GCS baseball coach, Richie Estep, was very pleased that our Cougar Baseball program had two players drafted in the 2010 selections.  (Logan Darnell, GCS Class of 2007, was selected in the sixth round by the Minnesota Twins.)
 

The Vivio family has been involved in the filming of an episode of "Losing It with Jillian Michaels".  We've been told the show is going to air on June 29th at 8 PM on NBC.

They are taping the last part of their episode at the Vivio's farm on June 12th.  The producers want a crowd to help celebrate their accomplishments.

Goodpasture's 5th & 6th grade softball team went undefeated this season and in tournament play.  This was our inaugural season and we played in the Green Hills League.

The league's championship game had us face Ensworth for the second time this season.  Our 1st encounter ended in a 3-2 win for Goodpasture, where the championship game victory was a lopsided 14-3.  team effort, great defense all year long

The girls tennis team finished their regular season 6-2 in the district. This earned them a #3 seed in the district team tournament. They will face Hume-Fogg at Centennial Sportsplex at 3:30 on Thursday, April 29th. Redistricting had the Cougars face opponents they had not seen before such as Maplewood and Stratford, while friendly faces such as Ezell-Harding and DCA turned into non-district matches.

The Goodpasture Cougars (21-4) are hot on a run towards another State Title. They have started this run with only 3 loses this month and 15 wins. That includes two tounaments, the Warrior Classic and Good Day to Play Invitational.
