This past Saturday was a beautiful day to be outside.  Most students didn't find themselves wielding a .22 caliber nail gun or other power tools!

Former Baseball Cougar Logan Darnell (2-0) with a 2.57 ERA, threw nine shutout innings vs. San Diego State on the Kentucky Wildcats current road trip out West. He was awarded the SEC Pitcher of the Week. With all of the talent in the SEC Baseball Conference, Logan is at the top of his game. We are very proud of this former Baseball Cougar.

On Feb. 16th, both the girls and boys basketball teams played the Westmoreland Eagles in a "snow" make-up game.  This was also a make-up of the Senior Night festivities as well.

The Senior Girls and Boys Basketball Players and Senior Cheerleaders were honored with their parents between the girls and boys games.

The Goodpasture Cougars (8-8) and Lady Cougars (10-7) split their district basketball games last week at Greenbrier. The boys lost by the score of 89-54. The Lady Cougars had an exciting comeback win by the score of 49-45.
