Extended Care

The extended care program provides supervision and care for children in Grades K3-6 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. and after school care (on regular school days) between 3:30p.m. and 6:00p.m. Care is available at 10:50 a.m. on days when school dismisses for half-days.

Care is also available on regular school days when school is not in session (i.e., teacher in-service and snow days) from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Care is NOT provided on these holidays:

• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving and Friday after
• Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
• New Years Eve and New Years Day
• Presidents Day
• Good Friday
• Memorial Day
• July 4th

Cost per child:

• $6.00 per day for after-school care
• $10.00 per half-day care
• $14.00 per full day when school is not in session

A snack is furnished to children in PreK-6th grade. Parents should plan to provide a lunch on half-days or days when school is not regularly in session.

All students in PreK-12th grade who are not picked up by 3:20 in the afternoon and are not participating in a school related extra-curricular activity are taken to extended care and parents are charged a $6.00 fee per day.
