Beginning at age three, Goodpasture provides a strong academic program in a caring, Christian environment. Our faculty and staff work daily to provide a variety of activities to meet individual needs and make the learning environment challenging, exciting, and successful. Each teacher accepts the challenge and responsibility for teaching and provides a climate for academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth. All faculty, preschool through fourth grade, are certified in their area of instruction. In addition to regular classroom teachers, all students work with certified music, physical education, library, and computer instructors. Class size ranges from 15 per class with an educational assistant in preschool up to 20 per class in Kindergarten through fourth grade. Preschool through high school is approved by the Tennessee State Department of Education and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools

We believe that teachers and parents are partners in the important role of educating children. We need and encourage the involvement and support of families and community. Parent volunteers are involved in the Scholastic Reading program, the magazine sale, helping in classrooms, driving on fieldtrips, assisting with productions, and many other areas.
